My husband and I are both from Charleston, grew up here, and never desired to live anywhere else. He was living in the large historic house across the street from this vacation rental, renting from the childless couple who lived there and loved him, when this rental house came on the market. Instead of living the high life while dating me, he wisely invested in this property. I thought this property would provide an opportunity for people who love Charleston to come with family or friends and stay longer at a more reasonable price than is typically found downtown and with the Old Charleston charm. I cannot stand looking at pictures of generic rooms that look like they could be Anyplace, USA. You definitely feel you are in Old Charleston in my vacation rental. The views out the windows, the architectural beams within, the old Charleston furnishings, and the local art work create an experience with Historic Charleston that comes inside with you. Parking is a tension in the peninsula of Charleston. Our vacation rental is one of the only houses in the neighborhood with a 7 car garage and additional parking in the back.
