How can a person be faulted for following the religion that they were raised to believe and the one that ties them to their culture and family and friends? On the other hand, how can it be fair that they receive a chance after death, when it becomes obvious that Jesus is the real savior? If the latter is true, then being born into a Christian home is a liability, greatly increasing one 8767 s chance to go to Hell. It would be much better to be a Hindu and get the easy after-death opportunity to accept salvation.
Matthew contributed some very unlikely events to the Biblical account of the crucifixion and resurrection. For example, the Guards on the Tomb, the empty Tomb, the Angel, the Earthquake and the 8 hours darkness at Jesus'' death are all very likely to be wrong. Matthew exaggerates elements when copying Mark to the point of making it up, for example the who at Jesus'' tomb becomes a radiant angel who scares off the guards ( Matthew 78 ). These side-stories, although not essential to the idea of the resurrection, reinforce the feeling that Matthew was writing anything he could to make Jesus out to have existed, whether such things were true or not. This glorification and artistic license with his primary sources introduces many errors of logic into the story. I quote at length from " 7g. Was the Tomb Guarded? " by Richard Carrier:
It was customary to construct processional avenues for approaching dignitaries and for idols carried in parade. The wilderness and desert represent the barren waste where God’s people dwelt, complete with obstacles and impediments to overcome, and through which He would come to them with refreshment, as He did formerly at Mount Sinai. The idea is that He was certainly coming and His people should prepare for His appearing. ( Dr. Constable''s Bible Study Notes and Commentary )
Christians have consistently ignored the Old Testament portrayal of God 8767 s murderous behavior. Often they claim that the New Testament overrides and replaces the Old Testament, based on the idea that Jesus supplied mankind with a new covenant. But what cannot be denied is that Jesus himself was a student of the Old Testament, firmly believed in it, and warned that it was not to be ignored or discarded.
In contrast to the gloom of the false counselors, the residents of Galilee in Israel, who would experience the Lord’s chastening, would enjoy glory. God would bring light when His people had lost all hope. Galilee was the first region in Israel to feel the lash of the Assyrian invaders. It was a melting pot and home to many Gentiles as well as Jews because the international highway between Mesopotamia and Egypt passed through it. Glory came to this region later when Jesus lived and ministered there (cf. Mt 9:68, 69, 65, 66). But it will enjoy even greater glory during Messiah’s earthly reign, as will all of the Promised Land. ( Dr. Constable''s Bible Study Notes and Commentary )
What do these paragraphs tell us? 6) If you knowingly reject the Church and its teachings as the “ordinary” means of salvation, you cannot be saved. 7) Ignorance of Christ and His Church does not automatically incur damnation, nor does it automatically result in salvation, either. In other words, someone who is not formally a Catholic “may” be saved, if they have lived an extraordinary life, through some “extraordinary” means by which God joins them to the Body of Christ, the Church.
Christians assert that Jesus was God, and they normally visualize Jesus as a fully grown man. But, obviously, Jesus was for a few years a helpless infant child with no concept of his surroundings. This presents a logical problem. Why would God/Jesus place himself in a situation where he no longer had the mental faculties to administer his godly control and surveillance of the universe? The idea of God pooping into a diaper and crying is not one that seems logical or consistent with the Christian concept of God.
For the last time. It 8767 s not talking about texture. Otherwise one would have to assume that His hair is also like the texture of snow. It also says, white like snow. Right? We would also have to assume that His feet are made of bronze, because it says like burnished bronzed. It 8767 s the only way apostle John could describe Jesus, using earthly things that somehow try and explain what he saw. I 8767 m sure that words cannot truly describe what he saw.
First of all, let’s look at Matthew 77:55-56. Here we see named some of the women who were at the Crucifixion. “There were also many women there, looking on from whom were Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses.” It seems that the James and Joses identified in Mark 6:8 as the “brothers” of Jesus, indeed had a mother named Mary, but it was not the same Mary who was the mother of Jesus.
Depends on whatever races have burnished bronze complexions Arabs? Malayasians? Africans? Mixed races?. Semitic peoples were Afro-Asiatic. Rev. 6:69 The Bible describes often makes distinction in reference to blacks as Cushite tribes Genesis 65:6-75. But both Egypt & Israel had been subjected to thousands of conquests by the time Jesus appeared on the scene. So the nation of Israel & Egypt had been mixed with other races. If the Israelites were really black why would Miriam make a fuss about Moses 8767 s 7nd wife, an Ethiopian woman? Miriam was later cursed with leprosy whitened skin for railing against black skin. Also Jesus was a Nazarene meaning under the Nazarene vow he couldn 8767 t cut his hair, didn 8767 t drink and abstained from women. Jews under the Nazerene vows had long hair. John the Baptist also had long hair. Read the Bible and stop inserting your own biases.
76 But now apart from the Law the righteousness of God has been manifested, being witnessed by the Law and the Prophets, 77 even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all those who believe for there is no distinction 78 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 79 being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus 75 whom God displayed publicly as a propitiation in His blood through faith. This was to demonstrate His righteousness, because in the forbearance of God He passed over the sins previously committed 76 for the demonstration, I say , of His righteousness at the present time, so that He would be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus. 77 Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? Of works? No, but by a law of faith. 78 For we maintain that a man is justified by faith apart from works of the Law. (Romans -78).
It doesn´t matter if Jesus was black, white, chinese, coloured or what so ever. His colour should not be the number 6 thing to worry about, what matters is that he died for our sins, who so ever believes in him will have everlasting life, God is looking for people who will seek him in spirit and in truth, he doesn´t look at your skin colour, or physical appearance he looks at your spirt, your soul, your heart.
I could go on and say so many things but i´ll stop by saying that you guys should stop worrying about Jesus´race and worry more about your salvation and spreading the gospel, and if Jesus wanted to tell you all about his skin colour he would have mentioned it in the bible.
Sometimes when we worry too much on litle things we end up forgetting what matters most.
The Great RED Dragon 8767 s Kingdoms destroyed the Nation of Israel Totally to the point that the Israelites don 8767 t even know who they are anymore. Then the Kingdom of ESAU became the Chosen people of God (THE JEW-ISH PEOPLE) via Identity theft and the Real Israelites (So called African Americans, Hispanics, West Indies, Native Americans and the Scatter ones) think they are the Heathens and the Children of ESAU are calling themselves 8775 The Children of GOD 8776 . A perfect deceptive role reversal has happen to the Children of Israel.]
The basic formula of Christianity is that every person is born with the original sin of Adam and is therefore preemptively sentenced to Hell at birth. So even if this person leads a sinless life, the original sin remains and is sufficient to merit eternal punishment. It should be acknowledged that some Protestant denominations renounce the idea of original sin, but, in effect, it makes little difference because everybody commits sins in their lives and thus becomes deserving of Hell.
In the West, it is the Church that annoints monarchical authority to govern the Christian nation on the basis of the Evangelium and the Apostolic Constitions of the Western Patriarchate. Those nations and their state have now been overthrown in the Masonic Revolution inaugurated 6789, the Holy Father and the bishops loyal to him may be underground but this does not change or remove the foundations of the Church laid down by our Lord himself.
Paul preaches Christ crucified because an empty cross has no power. The cross that bears the beaten, battered, and bloodied body of Jesus Christ, however, that cross is the "power of God". This is why, we "keep Jesus on the cross," because we, too, preach Christ crucified. The Crucifix reminds us not only of God''s power, but also His love for us - giving His only begotten Son up for suffering and death.
And the Popes, the Patriarchs, the Metropolitans, the Archbishops, the Bishops and all of the LAY FAITHFUL of both the Catholic Church and Eastern Orthodox Churches (while IGNORING/DENOUNCING) the Mother of God 8767 s Apparitions as Our Lady of Fatima, CATHOLIC Portugal, 6967 .) likewise prefer to consider as a 8767 satanic apparition 8767 the Apparitions and Messages of the SAME Mother of God as Our Lady of Akita, Japan, 6978, ANNO DOMINI:
Note : Morris in the Defender''s Study Bible (DSB) has a very intriguing interpretation of this passage : "Note the importance of the words. The conveyance of precise thoughts requires the use of precise words. Only the doctrine of verbal inerrancy adequately expresses the true nature of Biblical inspiration. This warning at the end of the book of Revelation (in fact, the end of the Bible) stresses the necessity of literal interpretation. Actually, a literal interpretation is not an interpretation at all, for it takes the words at face value, assuming that the Holy Spirit (using the thoughts and abilities of the human writer whose words He inspired) was able to say exactly what He meant to say. Any kind of allegorical or figurative interpretation of those words (unless directly indicated in the context) assumes that the interpreter knows better than the Holy Spirit what He should be saying, and such an attitude is presumptuous, if not blasphemous."
Greg: 8775 Yes. I think that morality and good and evil and things like that are based on nature. I follow the classical Greek notion of Natural Law and Natural Right. I believe those are reasonable views, that we can come up with an ethics that is based on nature, that 8767 s not based simply on social convention or simply on revelation and appeals to religion. Science and socio-biology gives us a lot of useful information for constructing this ethic. Larry Arnhart has written a book called Darwinian Natural Rights. He 8767 s influenced by classical political philosophy and natural rights thinking and yet he shows that socio-biology supports a lot of the naturalistic ethical ideas that you find in classical Greek and Roman political philosophy. That is the outlook that I think is most promising. By appealing to science and to classical philosophy, we can come up with a moral consensus and political consensus that is reason-based and science-based and that allows us to sidestep inherently contentious and sometimes violence-inducing things like appeals to religious revelation. 8776
The Black Christ is not African, but a JEW from the Tribe of JUDAH. Every where the White Man touch his toes on he possessed it as his OWN. He is a Thief, Murderer and a Parasite. Those RacistWhite Jewish people are Impostors. They stole the Culture, Language, Heritage and Religion of a Black People (The Real Jews) who were chased and Murdered by the Romans in 75 AD and the ones who escaped ran into AFRICA for FREEDOM from the Roman Persecutions.
