What if you could take eHarmony and all the other dating sites, and mash it up with an aggregated people search engine, like Wink ? The love child would resemble something like Copenda , the upcoming people search tool that scours the web''s dating sites to find you a perfect match. The site is still in private beta, but will go live later this week. I got a chance to check it out today, and it''s pretty clear what Copenda has set out to do. Hook people up.
Thanks for posting this, Radio! I was doing some research this week-end on how to improve my online dating profile, and stumbled on your site. The guide is a great source of inspiration, and it really helps that you 8767 re giving so many examples in there, both of what to do and what *not* to do. I 8767 m going go fill out the worksheet from your guide, and look forward to more online dating success. I 8767 m already getting some ideas how about EmotionsInMotion? Or EcstaticElastic? Hmm, I 8767 ll keep thinking 🙂

So how helpful is Copenda as an actual search engine? It will need to add more sources to its service before it becomes viable for practical use, and perhaps some additional filtering options could help users find others that they''d be interested in. For example, adding the ability to search only Facebook and for a particular type of person could help weed out some of the erroneous search results for a given keyword. This is especially important as Copenda does offer search services beyond dating purposes. Mobile search features are the next steps for Copenda.
FeelsAwesome: Is he talking about sex already?
IReallyDoExist: Does he have low self-esteem?
SmallWood: Does this guy have a small penis?
JohnVice: Does this guy have a vice like a drug problem?
DemonWrath: Ummmm (you can draw your conclusion)
DaGift7Womens: Yo Yo, will dis gangsta ask her on a date den pop some caps?
With the Username Search form below , you can perform unlimited username searches on the Plenty Of Fish website. This POF search utility will return complete and partial matches, for example, if you enter Evan in the search box, any Plenty Of Fish members that have Evan as part of their username will appear below including evan6768 , evansgirl78 , EvanATX , etc. This web based POF Username Search tool has replaced the POF Username Search software because the software only worked on Windows while this tool works on any internet enabled device.
I helped Matt with his online dating. He’s purposefully dorky with good dork-o-rama style. He has a high quality dorky photo of himself. He used the dorky photo but used the contrasting username MaleSuperModel. This worked because of the funny contrast. If a good looking guy used this name, he’d come off way too full of himself and it would turn girls off.
Before you get started creating your own username, here are 55 keywords and 55 off-the-hook kick ass usernames I created, that you can use as your own or as a guide. Check them out.
Natalie says: “When I’m window shopping for guys online, I pass over 99% of them. They have the most ridiculous photos and names. Just look at this guy LoverBoy69 he’s cute but that name (She shakes her head and rolls her eyes in disappointment) I wouldn’t even look at his profile. And look at this – John666897, that’s so plain and what’s with all the numbers?
Choose to search for males or females, select an age range, and see what you get. There are other search parameters as well, such as distance from a particular region and keyword. Checking out the search results, I noticed that a good portion of the profiles come from , Friendster and hi5 ( Facebook is on the way). If you''re really looking to entertain yourself for about 8 minutes, choose different age ranges and then check out the search results to see where the profiles are hailing from.
Great Usernames are Usually Puns or Plays on Words. As someone who has been an online dating coach since 7. I’d venture to guess that I’ve not only seen more usernames than just about anyone on the planet, but I’ve written more of them as well. Why do I think that usernames make a difference, when everyone knows that it’s all about the profile and photo? Because when you’re dating online, which is an extremely competitive medium, you need every advantage you can get. A great username is a differentiator – a unique brand name – something that completely sets you apart from every other person on a dating site. And when your ideal partner is scrolling through hundreds of names – Sally.
I new something was up but didn 8767 t know what was wrong let alone how to fix it. I found your site and instantly identified with the username issue. I read the article, watched the video and downloaded your workbook. I started the keyword brainstorming and couldn 8767 t stop thinking about the two examples 8775 Once Upon A Tom 8776 and 8775 Mike in Shining Armor 8776 . I thought about the way most children 8767 s stories end and they lived happily ever after. From that I came up with the username 8775 HowieEverAfter 8776 . Howie is one of my nicknames.
Other ways to get great keywords:
• Browse through a dictionary for words that look good visually.
• Grab a random book or magazine near you, look through it for words that stand out.
Now that you have some keywords in your list, use to get more ideas. Here is an example of some great words I found by looking up the synonyms of happy.
Each result gets their own profile on Copenda as well, which isn''t a profile in the regular sense, just a page with the same basic info, and space at the bottom for comments. As with most people search engines, you can claim this profile as your own. That brings us to the second aspect of Copenda, which is the personalized end of things. You can create an account for Copenda, and save items (search results) on your dashboard. This will help you keep track of all those hotties from Friendster.
